Platinum Pest Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to lead our general pest control department. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and driving departmental growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in pest control, and a passion for operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support pest control technicians to ensure consistent, high-quality service.
- Develop and implement treatment protocols and best practices for general pest control.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Train and mentor technicians in pest identification, treatment methods, and safety procedures.
- Manage technician schedules and optimize service routes for efficiency.
- Address customer concerns and provide expert technical support to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain inventory of pest control products, equipment, and supplies.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to enhance service offerings and improve customer retention.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Valid pest control certification and licensing as required by state regulations.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pest control; leadership or management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of general pest control methods and safety protocols.
- Proficiency with scheduling and customer management software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
