Position Summary:

Platinum Pest Solutions, a leading pest control provider specializing in multi-family and commercial properties, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business, cultivating strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. You’ll identify potential customers, present tailored pest control solutions, and negotiate service agreements that meet client needs while achieving sales targets.


Key Responsibilities:

· Identify and develop new business opportunities within the multi-family and commercial sectors

· Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, facility operators, and key decision-makers

· Conduct site assessments and recommend customized pest control solutions

· Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales

· Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)

· Collaborate with service teams to ensure smooth implementation of services

· Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and company offerings

· Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using CRM systems


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in pest control or a service-based industry
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently

Job description:

The Field Service Technician will use pest control techniques to exterminate/treat pests in outdoor and indoor environments. Responsible for generating sales referrals and leads as well as upselling to existing customers. Providing exceptional customer service to property managers, residents for a designated area/route. The technician will be expected to come to the Lansing, IL office 1 day per week.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Observes the property and consults with customers to identify pests.
  • Determines best method to treating and exterminating pests using specific treatment methods.
  • Sprays chemical pesticides and spreads granular pesticides in problem areas.
  • Places and sets mechanical traps to remove rodents, roaches, or bed bugs.
  • Posts warning signs for areas exposed to chemical pesticides or dangerous gases.
  • Cleans affected areas as necessary.
  • Responsible for service to a specified service route, including customer service and revenue of defined route. Upselling customers on products and services to help assist in the treatment and removal of pests.
  • Ability to work with dogs, as a potential K9 handler
  • Maintain appropriate documentation of accounts serviced. Communicate to customers/tenants’ outcomes and expectations of service provided.
  • Follow up on any customers issues or concerns.
  • Maintain vehicle inspection
  • Maintain driving score expectations.
  • Follow processes and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to work with all kinds of general pest, including but not limited to, rats, roaches, mice, bedbugs and ants
  • Ability to work with dogs. Prior experience working and caring for dogs is a plus

  • Ability to read material safety (MS Data) sheets and follow manufacturer’s directions for handling dangerous chemicals.

Job description:

The Pest Control Technician Trainee is responsible for learning and applying pest control techniques to assist in the treatment and prevention of pest infestations in both residential and commercial settings. This position is designed for individuals actively training for licensure, which must be obtained within 30 days of employment. Under the guidance of licensed professionals, the trainee will support field operations, provide excellent customer service, and develop skills in pest identification, treatment application, and customer engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Shadow and assist licensed technicians in inspecting properties and identifying pest activity.
  • Learn to determine appropriate pest control methods for various infestations.
  • Assist with applying chemical and non-chemical treatments (sprays, baits, traps) in accordance with safety regulations and under supervision.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must obtain a Wisconsin pest control license within 30 days of hire.
  • Prior pest control experience is a plus but not required - training is provided.
  • Must be able to speak and read English fluently.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening.
